Quartz Powder Production Line In Bengal

A leading quartz processing company in Bengal, sought an advanced ultra-fine grinding and classification system. They were going to produce high-purity quartz powder for demanding electronics and photovoltaic applications. Their objectives were to obtain a fine product with D97 ≤ 10 µm.

Following comprehensive trials of several systems, the customer selected EPIC Powder’s integrated solution. It’s featuring a ball mill paired with an ITC-3 high-precision air classifier.

The ITC-3 air classifier has horizontal high-speed turbine, secondary air intake, and precision speed control. it delivers an exceptionally sharp cut and narrow particle size distribution. The integrated variable-frequency feeder and fully automated PLC system enable single-operator control of the entire production line.

Commissioned in early 2025, the system has exceeded expectations, operating continuously for over 8,000 hours with nearly zero unplanned downtime. The produced ultra-fine quartz powder (SiO₂ ≥ 99.95%) consistently meets the stringent specifications of top-tier photovoltaic crucible and electronic-grade filler manufacturers, significantly enhancing the customer’s market competitiveness.
