Caracteriza-se pela ampla disponibilidade de mat\u00e9rias-primas, alto grau de brancura, baixa absor\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00f3leo, boa aplicabilidade e baixo custo. Atualmente, \u00e9 o produto em p\u00f3 mineral inorg\u00e2nico n\u00e3o met\u00e1lico mais utilizado e com maior volume de produ\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A produ\u00e7\u00e3o de GCC baseia-se principalmente em tecnologias de moagem e modifica\u00e7\u00e3o de superf\u00edcie para fabricar produtos que atendam aos requisitos de finura de diversas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. Esses produtos incluem p\u00f3 fino, p\u00f3 ultrafino, p\u00f3 com superf\u00edcie modificada (ativado) e pasta ultrafina para fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o de papel, entre outros. Quando equipado com classificadores finos internos ou externos, pode produzir part\u00edculas ultrafinas com d97 \u2264 10 \u03bcm. A finura do produto \u00e9 ajust\u00e1vel entre d97 = 5\u201340 \u03bcm, sendo a faixa de tamanho ideal d97 = 10\u201330 \u03bcm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O moinho de rolos \u00e9 um dos principais equipamentos de grande escala para a moagem fina e ultrafina de GCC. Apresenta uma alta taxa de moagem e \u00e9 mais adequado para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de part\u00edculas com d97 = 15\u201345 \u03bcm. Quando combinado com um classificador fino externo, pode produzir part\u00edculas ultrafinas com d97 \u2264 10 \u03bcm. O produto resultante possui boa granulometria e baixo valor de absor\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00f3leo.
