Son m\u00e9canisme ignifuge peut \u00eatre r\u00e9sum\u00e9 en trois actions principales\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Effet endothermique :<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 haute temp\u00e9rature, le carbonate de calcium se d\u00e9compose et absorbe une quantit\u00e9 importante de chaleur, abaissant ainsi la temp\u00e9rature de surface du mat\u00e9riau et retardant la combustion. La r\u00e9action de d\u00e9composition est la suivante\u00a0:<br>CaCO\u2083 \u2192 CaO + CO\u2082\u2191<br>Cette r\u00e9action contribue \u00e0 freiner l&#039;\u00e9l\u00e9vation de temp\u00e9rature du mat\u00e9riau, rendant plus difficile l&#039;atteinte du point d&#039;inflammation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Effet de dilution :<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le carbonate de calcium se disperse uniform\u00e9ment dans le mat\u00e9riau, diluant ainsi la concentration de substances combustibles. Lorsque la teneur en mati\u00e8res inflammables est fortement dilu\u00e9e, la combustion devient plus difficile \u00e0 entretenir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Effet barri\u00e8re :<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#039;oxyde de calcium (CaO) produit lors de la d\u00e9composition forme une couche protectrice dense \u00e0 la surface du mat\u00e9riau, emp\u00eachant l&#039;oxyg\u00e8ne d&#039;entrer en contact avec le combustible et bloquant ainsi l&#039;un des trois \u00e9l\u00e9ments essentiels \u00e0 la combustion. Parall\u00e8lement, le CO\u2082 lib\u00e9r\u00e9 dilue davantage l&#039;oxyg\u00e8ne environnant, contribuant \u00e0 l&#039;extinction de la flamme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, le carbonate de calcium modifi\u00e9 pr\u00e9sente une meilleure compatibilit\u00e9 avec les polym\u00e8res que de nombreux retardateurs de flamme traditionnels. Il peut \u00eatre transform\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#039;aide des poudres Epic. <strong>rev\u00eatement par fraisage \u00e0 broches<\/strong> ou <strong>rev\u00eatement de broyeur turbo<\/strong> technologies. Cependant, sa faible compatibilit\u00e9 avec les polym\u00e8res et son renforcement m\u00e9canique limit\u00e9 restreignent son utilisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une \u00e9tude men\u00e9e par Guo Yaxin et al. a explor\u00e9 les effets de l&#039;association du carbonate de calcium et de l&#039;hydroxyde de magn\u00e9sium dans les copolym\u00e8res d&#039;\u00e9thyl\u00e8ne-ac\u00e9tate de vinyle (EVA). Les r\u00e9sultats ont montr\u00e9 que l&#039;ajout d&#039;une quantit\u00e9 appropri\u00e9e de CaCO\u2083 am\u00e9liorait les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques, \u00e9lectriques et ignifuges. Avec une charge totale de 120 phr, la formulation contenant 10 phr de CaCO\u2083 a atteint des performances m\u00e9caniques et ignifuges optimales\u00a0: une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la traction de 11 MPa, un allongement \u00e0 la rupture de 370% et un indice limite d&#039;oxyg\u00e8ne (LOI) de 30,5%. Wu Na et al. ont compar\u00e9 les effets du carbonate de calcium et de l&#039;hydroxyde de magn\u00e9sium sur les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques, thermiques, ignifuges et r\u00e9sistantes au feu du caoutchouc de silicone vulcanis\u00e9 par addition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que le caoutchouc de silicone contenant 150 phr de carbonate de calcium ne poss\u00e9dait toujours pas de propri\u00e9t\u00e9s auto-extinguibles. En revanche, avec seulement 50 phr de CaCO\u2083, il pr\u00e9sentait une excellente r\u00e9sistance au feu et emp\u00eachait la p\u00e9n\u00e9tration des flammes. Par contre, m\u00eame 150 phr d&#039;hydroxyde de magn\u00e9sium n&#039;ont pas suffi \u00e0 emp\u00eacher la perforation par les flammes en moins de 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La diff\u00e9rence r\u00e9side dans le comportement de d\u00e9composition thermique des charges et leur compatibilit\u00e9 avec le profil de combustion du caoutchouc de silicone. L&#039;ajout de charges ignifuges peut r\u00e9duire l&#039;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9 et l&#039;allongement \u00e0 la rupture, mais un sous-dosage peut ne pas respecter les normes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9. De plus, de nombreuses charges ignifuges augmentent la viscosit\u00e9 sans conf\u00e9rer de thixotropie, ce qui donne souvent des formulations \u00e9paisses et fluides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le carbonate de calcium nanom\u00e9trique s&#039;est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 \u00eatre une solution prometteuse. Zhang Dandan et al. ont mis au point des mastics silicones ignifuges utilisant du nano-CaCO\u2083 et de la silice pyrog\u00e9n\u00e9e comme charges de renforcement. Lorsque la teneur en nano-CaCO\u2083 atteignait 501 TP3T et que l&#039;ignifugeant azot\u00e9 FS-480D \u00e9tait ajout\u00e9 \u00e0 une concentration de 181 TP3T, le mastic obtenait une r\u00e9sistance au feu FV-0, ainsi que d&#039;excellentes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques et un comportement thixotrope. Chen Zhijie et al. ont modifi\u00e9 le carbonate de calcium avec un agent de couplage silicium-phosphore afin d&#039;am\u00e9liorer sa dispersion et de lui conf\u00e9rer des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s ignifuges. Le CaCO\u2083 modifi\u00e9 a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 une excellente lipophilie et a permis la formation de rev\u00eatements de polyamide minces, lisses et poreux sur le tissu, pr\u00e9sentant des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s ignifuges remarquables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">(5) Rev\u00eatements ignifuges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les rev\u00eatements ignifuges jouent un r\u00f4le crucial pour ralentir la propagation des incendies et gagner du temps pour les pompiers. Parall\u00e8lement, les charges \u00e0 base de silicate, comme la silice et le mica, offrent une r\u00e9sistance thermique sup\u00e9rieure, la structure lamellaire du mica renfor\u00e7ant la solidit\u00e9 et la duret\u00e9 de la couche de carbone. Au vu des performances et du co\u00fbt, l&#039;association de carbonate de calcium et de poudre de mica s&#039;est av\u00e9r\u00e9e la plus efficace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">(6) Adh\u00e9sifs ignifuges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Les adh\u00e9sifs poly\u00e9thers modifi\u00e9s par silane sont largement utilis\u00e9s dans la construction et l&#039;industrie en raison de leur forte adh\u00e9rence et de leurs performances \u00e9quilibr\u00e9es. Yuan Yinlun et al. ont \u00e9tudi\u00e9 l&#039;influence de diff\u00e9rentes proportions de polyphosphate d&#039;ammonium (APP), de carbonate de calcium broy\u00e9 et de nanocarbonate de calcium sur la r\u00e9sistance au feu, les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques et la facilit\u00e9 de mise en \u0153uvre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La formulation optimale \u2014 160 phr d&#039;APP, 80 phr de carbonate de calcium broy\u00e9 et 80 phr de nano-carbonate de calcium \u2014 a atteint une r\u00e9sistance au feu V-0 et a satisfait aux exigences de d\u00e9placement de 25 LM, d\u00e9montrant le potentiel synergique de la combinaison de plusieurs types de charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0693e3\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Conclusion<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le carbonate de calcium est bien plus qu&#039;un simple agent de remplissage permettant de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts.
